Guarantee for Renters

What does our Guarantee mean for Renters?
It means security. We don't charge your card until the Property Owner confirms that your housing will be available. And in the rare instance that gameday arrives and your rental is not available by the Owner, we will work to find other accomodations for you. At Gameday Housing our clients come first, and we will do whatever it takes to make sure your weekend experience is as enjoyable as possible.

Our Guarantee to you also means service. Once your rental is confirmed, we will be there for you. If anything goes wrong, and you can not resolve the issue with the property owner, we're just a phone call away -- any time of night. What is a confirmed order?

 

How our Guarantee protects Renters


Gameday Housing guarantees all Renters the following:

 

  • You will not be charged until the owner confirms your order.

Once confirmed,

  • The housing you see online is the housing you'll get
  • You will receive housing comparable to or better than that you reserved, or your money back.
  • You will be refunded if the game is cancelled and is not rescheduled.

 

Benefits provided to Renters under our Guarantee

Renters will receive the following benefits under our Guarantee if the requirements below are met:

 

  • If your a confirmed rental is disrupted:

  • Gameday Housing will immediately attempt mediate with the property owner and restore the Renters reservation. If a dispute can not be mediated, Gameday Housing will attempt to find comparable alternate housing to fulfill the reservation. If comparable alternate accomodations cannot be found or the time for the event has passed without any contact with the property owner, Gameday Housing will issue the Renter a refund for the full cost of the his reservation, including any service fees and shipping and handling charges.

  • If housing received is not the same or better than those the Renter committed to lease:

  • Gameday Housing will investigate the complaint and determine whether the Renter received the same or better accomodations than those the Renter committed to purchase. If Gameday Housing determines that the Renter did not receive the same or better tickets, Gameday Housing will, (i) provide the Renter with replacement tickets that are comparable or better than the tickets the Renter committed to purchase, or (ii) at Gameday Housing's discretion and following Gameday Housing's receipt of the tickets from the Renter, issue a refund to the Renter for the full cost of the tickets, including service fees and shipping and handling charges. Gameday Housing may, in its sole discretion, deem tickets received as the same or better than those the Renter committed to purchase.

  • If the event is cancelled or postponed:

  • If an event is cancelled and will not occur at a later date, Gameday Housing will send the Renter an email offering the Renter the opportunity to cancel their reservation in order to receive a refund for the full cost of the rental, including service fees and shipping and handling charges. Gameday Housing, in its sole discretion, will determine when an event has been cancelled. If an event is postponed or rescheduled, the Renter may use the reservation on the rescheduled date at the Owner's discretion otherwise, the Renter will receive a refund for the full cost of the rental, including service fees and shipping and handling charges.

Making a claim under our Guarantee


If a problem should arise, the Renter must follow these steps in order to receive a benefit under our Guarantee. If the Renter does not contact Gameday Housing Customer Service within the required time periods outlined below, the benefits of this guarantee will not be applicable.

 

  • If an Owner fails to deliver housing promised under a confirmed reservation:

  • The Renter must contact Gameday Housing Customer Service at customerservice@gamedayhousing.com or (1.703.408.3612) within 7 calendar days from the date the event was to take place. The sooner the Renter contacts Gameday Housing, the greater the likelihood that Gameday Housing will be able to assist the Renter in fulfilling the order or, if necessary, locate alternate accomodations.

  • If the housing provided is  not the same or better than those the Renter committed to lease:

  • Renter must contact Gameday Housing Customer Service at customerservice@gamedayhousing.com or (1.703.408.3612) no more than 7 calendar days after Renter checks in for his reservation. Please note that similar or more desirable accomodations may be substituted in place of the specific reservation listed on the Gameday Housing site. Gameday Housing may, in its sole discretion, deem accomodations received as the same or better than those the Renter committed to lease.

  • If the event is cancelled:

  • If an event is cancelled and will not occur at a later date, Gameday Housing will send the Renter an email offering the Renter the opportunity to cancel his reservation within 2 weeks in order to receive a refund for the full cost of the reservation, including service fees and shipping and handling charges.

Abuse of our Guarantee


Gameday Housing will investigate all claims and determine resolutions on a case-by-case basis. Gameday Housing reserves the right to limit the dollar amount a Renter may be awarded and the number of claims a Renter may file in a calendar year. Gameday Housing may suspend or permanently cancel the registration of any Renter or Owner who attempts to abuse our Guarantee and will report any such abuse to the appropriate legal authorities.

 

Guarantee for Owners

 

What does our Guarantee mean for Owners?


It means security. As long as you confirm and fulfill reservations as promised, we guarantee your payment.

 

Our guarantee also means service. We handle all the delivery arrangements involved with getting your keys to the Renter.  And if there are any problems, you'll work with us and will never be contacted directly by a Renter.

How our Guarantee protects Owners

Gameday Housing guarantees all Owners the following:

  • You can adjust your rental rates to reflect marketplace value at any time
  • You will receive payment from Gameday Housing for all rentals that you confirm and fulfill
  • Your property will be protected from mis-use or damage by our deposit policies

Benefits provided to Owners under our Guarantee

Owners will receive the following benefits under our Guarantee if the requirements below are met:

  • If the Owner cannot adjust rental rates on the site:

  • If the Owner cannot adjust rental rates for a housing listing, the Owner should contact Customer Service at customerservice@gamedayhousing.com for assistance. The Owner must be using a supported browser and have Internet connectivity. For more information, read the Gameday Housing User Agreement.

  • If the Owner has not received payment for a reservation:

  • If a payment for a reservation has not yet been received, the Owner should first check to make sure that the Owner Payment Information provided to Gameday Housing is correct in My Account. If the Owner Payment Information is correct but the Owner still has not received payment, the Owner must contact customerservice@gamedayhousing.com. Gameday Housing will investigate the payment in question to determine whether the payment has already been processed and if it has not, Gameday Housing will make every effort to process payment as quickly as possible.

Making a claim under our Guarantee

In order to receive a benefit under our Guarantee, Owners must do the following:

  • If the Owner cannot adjust rental rates on the site:

  • If the Owner cannot adjust the price on a fixed or declining reservation, or on an auction-style reservation where a bid has not yet been placed, the Owner should contact Customer Service at customerservice@gamedayhousing.com for assistance. The Owner must be using a supported web browser and have reliable Internet connectivity. For more information, read the Gameday Housing User Agreement.

  • If the Owner has not received payment for a reservation:

  • If the Owner has not received payment for a reservation, the Owner should first make sure that the Owner Payment Information provided to Gameday Housing is correct by logging in and going to My Account. If the Owner opted to receive payment via PayPal, the same email address provided in the Owner's Owner Payment Contact must also be registered at PayPal. If the Owner opted to receive a check payment issued to the Owner by name, the Owner should make sure that the First and Last Name provided in the Owner Payment Contact is correct. If the Owner opted to receive a check payment issued to the Owner's company, the Owner should make sure that the Company Name provided in the Owner Payment Contact is correct. After making any necessary corrections, please allow 2-3 weeks for Gameday Housing to re-issue payment. If the Owner Payment Information is already correct, the Owner should contact customerservice@gamedayhousing.com.
  • Gameday Housing will investigate the Owner's complaint promptly and determine the status of the payment. If the Owner's payment has not already been properly processed by Gameday Housing, we will make every effort to do so as quickly as possible.

Abuse of our Guarantee

Gameday Housing reserves the right to limit the dollar amount a Owner may be awarded and the number of claims a Owner may file in a calendar year. Gameday Housing may suspend or permanently cancel the registration of any Renter or Owner who attempts to abuse our Guarantee and will report any such abuse to the appropriate legal authorities.

 

Terms and Conditions

Our Guarantee is effective as of, and applies to all reservations made after, January 1, 2008.

If we change this Guarantee, we shall post a revised version of this Guarantee here, which shall automatically replace the terms of this Guarantee. Your continued use of the Site and the Services following Gameday Housing's posting of a revised Guarantee will constitute your acceptance of the revised Guarantee. If you do not agree with the terms of this Guarantee or any revised version of this Guarantee, do not continue to use the Services or this Site.

Have questions about how to rent or list a property? Contact Us and our customer service will help you rent properties or list properties from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST weekdays or 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM EST weekends. Response time varies but in general we get back to our clients within 24 hours.


You are renting short term housing from a third party; neither gamedayhousing.com nor Gameday Housing LLC is the listing property owner. Rental rates are set by the property owner and may vary widely from local hotel rates. ALL SALES AND BIDS ARE FINAL. No refunds, transaction cancellations or exchanges will be issued for date/time changes or partial performances. Cancelled events will be handled on a case by case basis. All prices listed are in US dollars.


Use of this website signifies your agreement to the User Agreement and Privacy Policy.
