Description
The Cottage at Penns Creek offers modern, comfortable, yet cabin-like accommodations for alumni, flyfishers, cross-country skiers, outdoor enthusiasts, and Penn State visitors and football fans. Penns Creek, Poe Lake, and Colyer Lake are close by and provide ample opportunities for water sports. Located in the Bald Eagle State Forest at the base of Big Poe Mountain. This is the ideal spot to relax before and after the game and enjoy all the amenities you need for a fantastic football weekend! Check-in is 2pm on Friday, check-out is 2pm on Sunday. There is a sleeper sofa that can be used in the common area. Towels are not provided. Please note the actual address of this property is 178 Lingle Valley Rd., Spring Mills, PA.     This cabin is perfect for a quiet weekend at Penn State. Richard was very easy to work with when booking and offered to let us stay Thursday and Sunday night. The commute to downtown was long but manageable. Would recommend to any outdoorsy family or group of alumni.

    Very cute cabin in the woods; clean and cozy. Richard was very helpful and easy to work with. Loved the rustic firepit in the back yard and the porch! Our entire family (8 people) enjoyed our Penn State/Pitt family game weekend here...especially with the win :)

    The house was very nice, clean and cozy. Directions given to us from the owner was spot on. I would recommend this house to anyone wanting a nice relaxing place to stay. It was a little ride to Penn State but not too bad.. You need to update the address advertiesed for this house. The actual address is 178 Lingle Valley Road, Spring Mills, PA. Ask the owner. He had no idea why it's listed as 119 Cooper St. When you google 119 Cooper St., address, it comes up some warehouse. Thank you.

Beaver Stadium

University Park is a college town home to PSU supporting around 30 hotels with the city of State College surrounding it. PSU plays their home games at Beaver Stadium, which has a seating capacity of 107,282, making it the largest stadium in the United States, the largest stadium in North America, and the third largest stadium in the world. Gameday Housing has been actively signing up vacation homes for weekend rentals in State College due to the passionate PSU fans that consistently pack and sell out Beaver Stadium each football weekend.
