GAMEDAYHOUSING.COM HISTORY
– The founders buy their first home outside of Notre Dame stadium. The humble cottage accommodates 12 adults, has all the features of a hotel suite, is closer to campus than any hotel, and is priced at a 50% discount to the equivalent block of hotel rooms. The home books up for all games in just one month.
– The founders take the time to improve their website and add homes to meet overwhelming renter demand. Despite the additional rooms, the homes are booked again months before football season starts. The website gets more than 300,000 page views during the months of July and August.
– Faced with immense demand for new homes, the founders spend months upgrading their website to allow other home owners to list their properties for rent on football weekends. Renters rave over the new homes and finally having a reliable alternative to overpriced hotels on football weekends. The company handles more than 100 rentals in its first season online.
– GamedayHousing.com hears the cries from football fans across the nation who want access to the GamedayHousing brand in their home market! The company empties its coffers and works with other developers to provide a solution to this problem, and a new version of their website is launched in the summer.
